FINANCE THE EDUCATION AND FEEDING OF CHILDREN IN A STATE OF ABANDONMENT
Due to the abandonment of the government in the Peruvian jungle area, closing educational and food programs due to the pandemic, many children were left abandoned. Our commitment to the Amazonian population Arbol International opened a soup kitchen to feed the elderly and children living in extreme poverty.
One day a skinny, dirty, hungry and barefoot 5-year-old boy appeared asking for a plate of food. Interested in the good of the child, members of the Arbol International staff took the child to his house and were surprised that the child was taking care of his 81-year-old grandmother. Both of the boy's parents have been forced to leave the city in search of a job, as their crops collapsed due to the prolonged quarantine of a year and a half that took place in Peru.

As we began to support this child on a daily basis, we were surprised that many children in the neighborhood were in the same or worse situation, receiving up to 12 hungry children.
It is the philosophy of Arbol Internacional is to support people, especially children. We need the help to feed them, educate them and accompany them in these difficult times. Our childhood vision is that all children can achieve their noblest dreams with jobs and opportunities like these.
